Transfer Station Attendant will work with the public and assist them with recycling and disposal of refuse. May serve as the Cardboard Baler or be assigned general labor tasks such as digging trenches, moving materials, clearing or cleaning worksites or performing construction related duties. Work may include operation of a Backhoe, fork lift, baler, truck or other light equipment. Current position is part time but could work into full time employment. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather. Must have high school diploma, GED or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Opening in the Clearwater County Sheriff's Office for a Communication Specialist. This job will monitor, receive, and transmit radio messages to law enforcement, medical, and fire personnel. Answer incoming phone calls. Fill out initial police reports. Maintain radio and phone logs. Assist jail deputies. Requires basic clerical abilities such as computer and typing skills. A typing test is required. Employer will provide additional job specific training. This is a fast-paced work environment. Applicants must have ability to multi-task, be highly organized and able to deal with a high stress work environment. Must have no felony arrests and no illegal drug use in the last 5 years. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver`s license. Also requires attending the dispatch academy within a year of hire date. This is a full time position. Shifts will rotate every two months (Day & Graveyard ).
